Abstract
Objective: To research the impact of Fuzilizhong Decoction on TNF-α and IL-10 in rats serum with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(D-IBS) and to preliminary explore the molecular mechanism of Fuzilizhong Decoction in the treatment of D-IBS.Methods: Rats were randomized into 5 groups: control group,model group,dicetel group,Fuzilizhong Decoction with low-dose group and Fuzilizhong Decoction with high-dose group with 10 rats in each group.The models with D-IBS were established by intragastric administration with senna leaves and restraint stress.2 weeks later,different treatments were taken for different groups.The expressions of TNF-α and IL-10 in the serum of rats were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results: The expressions of TNF-α in serum of model group were higher than those of the control groups.After Drug intervention,expressions of TNF-α in serum of rats were decreased obiously.In contrast.The expressions of IL-10 in serum of model group were lower than those in control groups.After Drug intervention,expressions of IL-10 in serum of rats were increased higher signifcantly(P 0.05).Conclusion: Fuzilizhong Decoction can reduce the expression of TNF-α and increase the expression of IL-10 in serum of D-IBS rats and thereby exerts therapeutic effects against D-IBS.
