Clinical Observation of "Xuefu Zhuyu Granule" in Treating Diabetic Nephropathy

To observe the clinical effects of Xuefu Zhuyu in the treatment of early and middle diabetic nephropathy,60 subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 30 cases were treated with this Granule and control group in which another 30 cases were treated with Losartan,with a course of 8 weeks. The clinical symptom score,24-hour urinary protein,kidney function,blood lipid,FIB,DD and blood rheology were observed before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 76.6% in treatment group and 56.7% in control group,P 0.05;the improvement rate of blood stasis was 84.6% in treatment group and 58.1% in control group,P 0.05;24-hour urinary protein and kidney function improved little; the CCH,TC,FIB DD and blood rheology improved obviously after treatment in treatment group. It is indicated that this Granule is effective to relieve clinical symptoms and improve laboratory indexes.
