Zeatin and Indoleacetic Acid 's Impact on Setting Percentage and Circularity of Rice:Mechanism Analysis

Abstract

Zeatin and Indo-acetic acid correlated closely with endosperms cells development,grains-filling and yield.The content peak of zeatin in superior grains was earlier and higher,it promoted endosperms cells division,so endosperms cells in superior grains was more and smaller;The content peak of zeatin in inferior grains later and lower,and the content peak of Indo-acetic acid in inferior grains later but higher,it promoted endosperms cells enlarger,so endosperms cells in inferior grains was fewer and bigger.Both of the contents of zeatin and Indo-acetic acid of endogenesis were consistent with grains-filling.Application of zeatin could significantly increase the setting percentage and grains-filling degree of inferior grains of hybrid rice liangyoupeijiu,consequently increased its yield,whereas it did not significantly effect on superior grains.Application of Indo-acetic acid did not significantly effect on the setting percentage and grains-filling degree of inferior grains and superior grains and the yield of hybrid rice liangyoupeijiu.
