Abstract
Ethyl acetate has been synthesized from the basic materials glacier acetic acid and ethyl alcohol by catelyst, the acidity and quantity of catalyst, reflux reaction time,acid/alcohol were investigated. The experimental results showed that when 0.1mol glacier acetic acid Was useed, the most oppropriate conditions were that 1.2g solid ultrastrong acid TiO2/SO42-Was used as catalyst , alcohol-acid ratio was 3, reflux time was 1-1.5 hours,The yield of the ester was 92.5%.which was a satisfactory result.
