Abstract

Objective To study the clinical significance of multiple tumor marker protein biochip detective system(C-12 biochip) in diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods The results of tumor markers in serum detected by C-12 biochip as well as the clinical information of 213 patients with lung cancer,71 patients with benign pulmonary diseases and 50 healthy individuals were analyzed retrospectively. Results The lung cancer group had significantly higher C-12 biochip positive rate than those of the other two groups (64.32%,28.17%,20.00%).The positive rate of CEA,CAl25 and Ferritin were the highest in adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma group, while NSE and CA125 were the highest in small cell lung cancer. There were statistical significance in positive rate of CEA and CAl25 between adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma groups(P0.05).Conclusion Combined observation of tumor markers has greater specificity than observation of single tumor marker.Multi-tumor markers detected by protein biochip are helpful for diagnosing and typing of lung cancer.
