On the Major Problems of Listening Comprehension in College English Teaching and Countermeasures

The development of listening comprehension ability is one of the important tasks in college English teaching. The paper mainly analyses the major problems students meet in listening training and presents some useful methods teachers may adopt and technique and skills students can apply in order to improve their listening ability in the course of English teaching and learning.
