Pragmatic Rhetorical Analysis of Synaethesia

Abstract

Pragmatic rhetoric is a cross-discipline of two related disciplines-pragmatics and rhetoric.The study of synaethesia as one of the rhetorical approaches is still in progress.Based on context,the paper tries to make a pragmatic rhetorical analysis of synaethesia from a cognitive perspective in two aspects:the cognitive mechanism of synaethesia as well as expression and comprehension of synaethesia in cognitive context.
