The Revelation of Conceptual Plan to Comprehensive Land Use Planning

Abstract
The paper aims at improving comprehensive land use planning by introducing ideas and approaches of conceptual planning. Method of documentation and comparison analysis were employed. Conceptual planning, which originally serve the urban planning, can be applied to comprehensive land use planning. The ideas and approaches of conceptual plan can be useful in strengthening land use strategic study, conducting land use zoning, guiding land quota allocation and making land use control rules.
