Experiment research of the safety of Gotongling ointment

Objective To observe the acute toxicity reaction of Gutongling ointment to healthy animal,and evaluate the safety of the drug.Method Through the experiments of stimulating the skin of rabbits,the experiments of allergy of the skin of guinea pig,and the acute toxicity experiments of the intact skin and the damaged skin of rabbits,to do the regular toxicology observation and the check and measure of index.Results ①There were no obvious erythema and edema response after the intact skin and the damaged skin had contact with Gutongling Ointment everyday,the stimulus index were all below 0.4;②Gutongling Ointment and the excipient didn't cause anaphylaxis such as erythema and edema etc on the guinea pig skin;③ When the damaged skin rabbit and the intact skin rabbit were used external Gutongling ointment whether more dosage or little dosage,their behavior,food,skin luster hadn't been influenced.During the domestic rabbit were successively observed 14 days,they didn't appear any acute toxicity responds or death.Conclusion Gutongling ointment doesn't cause obviously toxicity effect,it belongs to the safe preparation.
