Regulation of water resources fee during the rising of water price—Demonstration of water price of Nanjing

In order to make residents save water and to improve the sustainable utilization of water resources, quantitative methods were employed to analyze the rising of water resources fee and water price of Nanjing Tap Water General Company. The analytical results indicated that the water resources were a kind of scarce resources, and the water resources fee was the most active part of water price. The water resources fee should be highlighted during the rising of water price so as to realize economical utilization of water resources. The water price of Nanjing Tap Water General Company should be regulated to that when the Company could obtain the average profit of the society.
