Abstract
M 41T is an oil soluble high molecular mass demulsifier developed for dehydrating high viscosity (10800 mPa·s at 60℃) heavy (density at ground 0.9825 g/cm 3) crude oil of Caoqiao, Xianhe, Shengli, and is prepared by chain extending of an imidazoline initiated PO/EO blockpolyether. In field crude dehydrating test with M 41T in 39—63 ppm, qualified crude (water content1%) and waste water (oil content 50 ppm) were obtained. Now M 41T is still being used at Lean oil gathering plant (use level ~25 ppm). This paper presents the synthesis, performance evaluation, manufactured product, and field test results of demulsifier M 41T.
