Abstract

Aim To study the anti-tumor effect of matrixmeltaloproteonases inhibitor (ZX-18) in vivo and vitro. Methods The inhibitory effects on proliferation of prostate PC-3 cells,HEPG2 and colorectal adenocarcinomas Lovo were observed by MTT assay in vitro. The S 180 tumor cells were inoculated into the Kunming mice by subcutaneous injection at the right oxter. After that, the weight of tumor was measured. Results ZX-18 could inhibit the proliferation of prostate PC-3 cells,HEPG2 and colorectal adenocarcinomas Lovo significantly in vitro at the concentrations of 0.1,0.2 and 2.0mmol·L -1 in a concentration-dependent manner. In vivo study:at the concentration of 50mg·kg -1 ,ZX-18 had inhibitting effect on tumor growth obviously. Conclusion ZX-18 apparently inhibited the proliferation of tumor cells in vivo and vitro and might be beneficial for the treatment of tumor.
