Effect of Qingqianfang on Experimental Animal Model with Abacterial Prostatitis

Abstract
Objective:To obverse the effect of Qingqianfang on rats with abacterial prostatitis. Methods:The experimental rats with abacterial prostatitis were established by injecting 1% carrageenan normal saline into the prostatic. The effect of Qingqianfang on number of white blood cells, density of lecithin corpuscle in prostatic secretion and pathology changes of prostates were observed. Results:In rats treated by Qingqianfang, the number of white blood cells was obviously decreased, the density of lecithin corpuscle in prostatic secretion increased, the adenoid exudation decreased. The edema, inflammatory infiltration, and proliferation of fibroblasts were partly recovered. Conclusion:Qingqianfang has inhibitory effect on experimental abacterial prostatitis rats due to carrageenan.
