Abstract

Objective: to discuss the therapeutic function and mechanism of Qianliening1 on rats of chronic nonbacterial prostatitis. Methods: by injecting Xiaozhiling into the prostatic back of SD male rats, model rats of nonbacterial prostatitis were made to observe the effect of Qianliening1 on WBC number, lecithin corpuscular density in succus prostaticus, IgG content in prostatic homogenate, prostatic histomorphology, with injection of normal saline as pseudo-operation group and Nankangpian as positive drug group. Results: in both high and low dose group, WBC number significantly reduced, lecithin corpuscular density increased, and IgG content decreased; there was significant difference compared to model group (P0.01), and high dose group was significantly superior to positive drug group (P0.05、P0.01); both high and low group could significantly reduce the inflammatory cell infiltration in rats prostatic tissue, inhibit fibrous connective tissue proliferation. Conclusion: Qianliening1 can reduce the inflammatory reaction of prostatic tissue, decrease the fibrosis, and regulate prostatic local immune energy, which is one of the mechanisms of treating effectively chronic nonbacterial prostatitis.
