Abstract

Objective To study the rehabilitation method of bladder dysfunction of patients with lumbar fracture associated with incomplete injury of spinal cord. Methods Fifty-one cases were randomly divided into two groups: The patients in control group (19 cases) were treated by retention urethral catheterization, while the patients in observation group (32 cases) were treated by intermittent catheterization and medicine therapy. The time of retention urethral catheterization. the time of recovering urination of bladder, urinary infection and commemorative sign were compared between the two groups. Results As to the time of retention urethral catheterization, the time of recovering urination of bladder, urinary infection and commemorative sign, there were significantly differences between the control group and the observation group (P0. 05,P0. 01). Conclusion To patients with lumbar fracture associated with incomplete injury of spinal cord, the nursing interference can promote the rehabilitation of the bladder function.
