Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of oxaliplatin on HL-60cell lines and its possible mechanism. Methods:The leukemia cell growth was measured by MTT-microculture tetrazolium assay.Cell-cycle kinetics and apoptosis were analyzed by flowcytometry and microscopic examination. Results:Oxaliplatin could inhibit HL-60cell growth in concentration and time-dependent manners accompanied by the appearance of morphologic characteristics of apoptosis.Number of G 2 /M cells increased assayed by flow cytometry. The rate of cell growth inhibition was86.5%after intervention of0.032mmol/L oxaliplation for72hours.Conclusion:Oxaliplation could significantly inhibit the growth of HL-60cell in vitro by causing cell-cycle arrest and cell apoptosis.
