Abstract
The paper explores the problem of optimal water resources allocation in relation to the water demand for eco-environmental protection. Numerous problems are presented here which comprise the optimal ecology-oriented allocation of water resources, the optimal precipitation-based allocation of water resources, water resources allocation for different regions under different conditions, and the principle of 40% allocation for river water resources, as well as other related problems. Thorough discussion of these problems help further understand the theory of optimal allocation for water resources.
