Abstract
The process parameters of the purification of seabuckthorn flavonoids by metal complex method were studied. Six different kinds of metal were studied on the complex capacity with flavonoids. The optimal process for the purification of flavonoids was explored on the basis of single factor experiments. The best metal was zinc acetate. The optimized technology conditions to purify seabuckthorn flavonoids were as follow: flavonoids concentration was 0.20 mg/mL, time 30 min, zinc acetate solution concentration was 6.9 mmol/L, pH value was at 8.0, EDTA was 1.2 g/g flavonoids. After being purified, the purity was increased from 9.1% to 52.1% with 5.8 times as high as the crude extracts.
