Abstract

Objective To study the expression of estrogen receptor(ER)、prosgestogen receptor(PR)、p53 and C-erbB-2 protein in breast cancer patients and their clinical significances.Method The expressions of ER、PR、p53 and C-erbB-2 were detected by immunohistochemical staining in 51 cases of breast cancer proved pathologically. Results The positive rates of ER、PR、p53 and C-erbB-2 protein were 66.67%、58.82%、29.41% and 72.55% respectively in 51 cases with breast cancer. The expression of ER was found significant difference both in different tumor size groups and in groups with or without lymph node metastasis(χ~2=5.1883,P0.05),and No significant differences were found in different age groups and different stage groups.Expressions of PR、p53 and C-erbB-2 had no statistically significant in different age、tumor size、tumor stage and groups with or without lymph node metastasis. Conclusions Over expressions of ER、PR、p53 and C-erbB-2 are found in breast cancer tissue, the expression of ER correlates with tumor size and metastasis of lymph nodes.
