Abstract
Genomic DNA of chestnut(Castanea mollissima BL.) was extracted by CTAB method and SDS method. The DNA extracted was tested by agarose gel electrophoresis and spectrophotometry, and then double digested by EcoRⅠ and MseⅠ for AFLP.The results showed that the DNA extracted by both methods was with good quality and high purity while DNA extracted by SDS method was with higher quality and purity compared with CTAB method.
