Implementation of Team Software Process to Improve Maturity Level

Abstract

CMM, as a framework for improving software process, describes the detailed process improvement aspects and the quality goal. In the process improvement, the software manufacturers want to know how to achieve the high maturity level step by step. Team software process is a well-defined software process designed for project team and can be improved according to the CMM model. Based on the analysis of the relationship between team software process and CMM, and the description of the improvement on the maturity level by practicing the team software process, this paper concludes that team software process should be used in software manufacturers.
