Abstract

The methods of extracting total flavones from mulberry leaves, such as alcohol extraction, microwave extraction, supercritical CO2 extraction and adsorption by coarse pored resin were described. And the methods of total flavones determination in mulberry leaves, including spectrophotometry, fluorospectrophotometry, high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),high performance capillary electrophoresis(HPCE) and microemulsion thin layer chromatography, were summarized and compared.
