A Comprehensive Evaluation to the Level of Regional Sustainable Development Basing on PREEST System Model——A Case Study of Bijie Prefecture

Basing on the PREEST system model this thesis applies the pilot sustainable development appraisal system in Bijie experimental area during 1988-2006.The appraisal system indicates that population,resource and environment are the basic elements in the sustainable development,and the social system,economy,and science and technology are the important factors in the realization of the sustainable development.Although the sustainable development mode in Bijie area has a lot of successful experience,it has some drawbacks in social harmonic mechanism,method of evaluation,theoretic research,etc.Therefore,it is necessary to establish more efficient work system for sustainable development,utilize more social resources to combine with government and finance to promote the efficiency and success in the sustainable development in new area.
