Abstract
Study identified the molecular marker linked to smooth fruit F gene of tomato. The linked marker was screened with a F2population between a smooth and fasciated parent(12509×12510)by AFLP technology. Total six AFLP markers had been identified to linked with F gene, E13M08, E11M07-B,E11M12-D, E11M08-A, E01M10 and E10M16-E. The genetic distances were 6.4, 8.5, 10.9, 17.1, 23.5 and 24.2 cM,respectively. AFLP marker E13M08 was used for the screening of germplasm resources. We obtained 45cultivars which contained this marker. The study provided the basis for the appearance quality of tomato breeding.
