Effect of trans-nasal endoscopic sinus surgery on chronic sinusitis

Abstract

Objective To explore the curative effects of transnasal endoscopic sinus surgery on chronic sinusitis.Methods 380 cases of chronic sinusitis were treated with endoscopic sinus surgery in 2000-2006.Of them,65 cases were type Ⅰ, 236 cases were type Ⅱ and 79 cases were type Ⅲ.Result The curative rate was 92.3%,84.3% and 67.1% in typeⅠ,Ⅱand Ⅲ.Conclusion The clinical curative rate is related to clinical type,operated area and post-operative treatments.
