Improvement on establishment of rat orthotopic pulmonary allograft transplantation model

Objective To try to establish a more simple and available rat orthotopic pulmonary allograft transplantation model.Methods Forty rats were randomly divided into donor and recipient groups.Anastomosis of pulmonary artery,vein was performed by following the cuff technique.Bronchi was reconstructed by stent technique.Results In 20 cases of operations,anastomosis was finished successfully.The time of donor lung picking-anastomosis and recipient vessel anastomosis was(35±5) min,(38±4) min respectively.Because of obstructed vein,two cases were found pulmonary edema quickly,and one was found atelectasis partly.Dysfunction of artery and bronchi was not appeared.The structure of lung is integrity as proved by pathological section.Conclusion The improvement is definite as the achievement ratio raised and the degree of operation difficulty was degraded.
