Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical value of serum levels of PreAlb(PAB)and total bile acid(TBA)of patients with chronic liver disease. Methods: The levels of serum PAB and TBA of patients with chronic hepatitis B and liver cirrhosis were detected and analyzed, the significance of their changes in different stages of chronic liver disease was revealed in comparing with the changes of serum albumin(A)and total bilirubin(TBIL)in these patients. Results: The serum levels of PAB of these patients were lower(P0.05 or P0.01),while the levels of TBA were higher significantly than those of healthy controls(P0.05 or P0.01).In the patients with early hepatitis B,the changes of serum PAB and TBA were obvious than those of A and TBIL.Conclusion: The serum levels of PAB and TBA can be important markers for predicting the early damage of liver function.
