Abstract
There has always been something wrong about the meaning of Feng-Gu(style) in terms of its content, form, diction and meaning. After summarizing the comments of Liu Xie,Zhing Rong and Chen Zi'ang, this paper concludes that Feng refers to the author's strong emotion and that Gu refers to the infectious expressiveness of language.Furthermore, based on this understanding,we can recognize the rich meanings and levels of style of Jian'an poems.
