Technique in Unilateral Cleft Lip Repair with Inferior Triangular Flap Method

Objective:To formulate a reasonable and effective individual operation design that can be adaptable to complete unilateral cleft lip according to the characteristics of deformity.Methods:95 patients with complete unilateral cleft lip were repaired with the modified inferior triangular flap method following geometric principle to clarify the operation design and technical key points of this technique.Results:93 cases were followed up,and it was found that the function in 85 cases was satisfying by this procedure.Symmetry was recovered,and the success rate was more than ninty percents.Conclusion:This technique is an available method to repair the complete unilateral cleft lip.
