Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of rabeprazole in duodenal ulcer. Methods Patients of duodenal ulcer in our hospital from March 2012 to March 2013 were randomly divided into two groups, the control group and the observation group, and 120 cases in each group. The control group was taken with famotidine treatment, and the observation group was taken with rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated capsules. After 4 weeks of treatment, the differences in efficacy, gastrointestinal symptom score differences and differences in incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the cure rate and total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, P0.05. Before treatment, gastrointestinal symptom scores between the two groups showed no significant difference, P0.05. The gastrointestinal symptoms scores in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group after treatment of 1, 2 and 4 weeks, P0.05. The incidence of adverse reactions for the two groups was low(P0.05), and symptoms were mild. Conclusion The rabeprazole in the treatment of duodenal ulcer can effectively promote ulcer healing, improve gastrointestinal symptoms, and it is effective and safe.
