Abstract

The rock formation of the source bed in Yindongpo gold deposit is a volcano sedimentary formation. The formation of the deposit and the occurrence, size and morphology of the orebody are doublely controlled by the source bed. The gold deposit has the characteristic of stratabound.The source of the mineralizing solution is metamorphic hydrothermal solution. The mineral is from the source bed while the ore forming element of the source bed is from mantle. The type of the genesis is stratabound volcano sedimentary metamorphic hydrothermal deposit.
