Abstract

Objective To analyze the distribution of pathogenic bacteria and resistance to antibiotics in Wuxi No.1 9 People′s Hospital in 2011.Methods The distribution and the antimicrobial susceptibility of pathogens, which were isolated from the clinical specimens in 2011,were analyzed retrospectively. Results A total of 533 strains of pathogens were isolated. The five common bacteria were staphylococcus aureus(25.69%),escherichia coli(15.20%),pseudomonas aeruginosa(14.63%),acinetobacter baumanii(10.69%) and klebsiella pneumoniae(9.94%).Staphylococcus aureus were more sensitive to vancomycin and linezolid than to other antibiotics.Enterobacteriaceae were more sensitive to imipenem and piperacillin-tazobactam than to other antibacterial.Pseudomonas were more sensitive to antibacteria than acinetobacter, but they were sensitive to piperacillin-tazobactam.Conclusion The bacteria isolated from specialist hospital is resistant to most of antibiotics.Clinicians should be familiar with the change of drug-resistant bacteria and conduct the rational use of antibiotics according to drug susceptibility test.
