Abstract
Objective: To study the ultrasonographic feature in advanced-stage gallbladder carcinoma and estimate its value. Methods: To analyze the ultrasonographic image in 39 cases of advanced-stage gallbladder carcinoma which were confirmed by surgery and pathology. Results: The ultrasonography of advanced-stage gallbladder carcinoma could be divided into fungation, thick-wall, solid and mixed-pattern. The hepatic metastasis, hepatic invasion, regional lymph node enlargement, stones in gallbladder, dilated bile duct etc were displayed simultaneously. Conclusion: Diagnosing advanced-stage gallbladder carcinoma accurately and estimating the metastatic foci are very important to surgical operation.
