Abstract

In order to research the reasons for moisture damage of the asphalt pavement caused by hydrodynamic pressure,we carried out the stress analysis of the water-pore structure, established a water-pore structure model of asphalt pavement under vehicle load, proposed the relations on asphalt pavement between volume of air and pore-water pressure, and discussed burst-suction effect and flushing action in the pores caused by the internal asphalt pavement structure under repeated loads.
