Abstract
Objective To study The expression of serum adiponectin and E-selectin in coronary heart disease and their correlation. Methods Serum levels of adiponectin and E-selectin were detected in 88 patients with angiographically confirmed 24 cases of stable angina pectoris(SAP),28 cases of unstable angina pectoris(UAP),18 cases of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)and 18 control subjects with normal coronary angiogram(control group).Age,construction of sex, proportion of smoking history、hypertension history and family history, total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG) were recorded.Serum levels of adiponectin and E-selectin were detected respectively by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and study their correlation. Results Serum adiponectin levels in The coronary heart disease(CHD) group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the levels of serum adiponectin decreased gradually from SAP group to AMI group, the differences of each group were obviously(P0.05).Serum E-selectin levels in The CHD group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the levels of E-selectin increased gradually from SAP group to AMI group, the differences of each group were obviously(P0.05).The changes of serum adiponcctin and E-selectin were negatively correlated in CHD group(r=-0.585,P0.01).Conclusion The Serum levels of adiponectin decrease in CHD group, the Serum levels of E-selectin increase in CHD group. The correlation between adiponectin and E-selectin may promote the development of atherosclerosis.
