Abstract

Objective To explore the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in diagnosis of atypical focal liver lesions. Methods Sixty-one cases of focal hepatic lesions not diagnosed by common ultrasound were examined by contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and then the results were confirmed by pathology. Results Compared with pathology, the accuracy of contrastenhanced ultrasound was 91. 8% (56/61). After contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, there were 4 cases not diagnosed, and 1 case misdiagnosed. Conclusion Contrast-enhanced ultrasound can improve the diagnostic accuracy of focal liver lesions.
