Effect of Danlong Xingnao Tablet on Volume of Cerebral Infarction in Rats Models of Cerebral Focal Ischemia-reperfusion

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of the Danlong Xingnao Tablet(DLXNT)on the volume of cerebral infarction and the function of nerves in rats models of cerebral focal ischemia-reperfusion.Methods:The modle of cerebral focal ischemia-reperfusion was induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)for 1h and reperfusion for 47h,technique of image analysis was used to calculate the volume of cerebral infarction.Results:After cerebral focal ischemia-reperfusion,the volume of cerebral infarction of the modelling group improved significantly(P0.01),the symptom scores of the function of nerves increased(P0.01).The volume of cerebral infarction and the symptom scores of the function of nerves of highand middle dosed DLXNT group were significantly lower than that of the modelling group's(P0.05).Conclusion:After cerebral focal ischemia-reperfusion,the volume of cerebral infarction improved.DLXNT can reduce the volume of cerebral infarction and improve the nervous symptom after cerebral ischemia.
