Abstract
Objective To evaluate the performance of Sysmex XS-800i hematology analyzer on CBC and DC. Methods The indexes including precision, total reproducibility, carry-over, linearity (dilution effect) and comparability were examined according to the relevant standard and compares with manual classification. Results The CBC of precision, carry-over rate and total reproducibility was meet the request. The instrument was better than XE-2100 in correlation(r0.99). Leukocyte differential count: Neut, Lym, Mon, Eos and Baso has good reproducibility. Among the comparisons of normal samples and microscopic effect, the Neut, Lym and Eos first place(r=0.9816, 0.9795 and 0.9629), the Mon second(r=0.828 3), the Baso comes last (r=0.587 4). Conclusion The analyzer can be used to test blood cell parameters accurately and reli-ably. Its main performance index meets the experimental requirements. It must be approved by the microscope for abnor-mal example of WBC before report.
