Abstract

Objective To study the diagnostic value of combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA242 and CA72-4 on colorectal cancer. Methods Serum levels of CEA,CA19-9, CA242, CA72-4 were measured by chemiluminesence immunoassay method in all the patients. Results The results showed that the serum levels of CEA, CA19-9, CA242,CA72-4 content were significantly higher in the colorectal carcinoma group than those in the benign colorectal diseases group(P0.05), the sensitivity, specificity, availability of united detection serum CEA, CA19-9, CA242, CA72-4 for rectal carcinoma were 81.7% and 95.1%, there was significant difference compared to single detection(P0.05). Conclusion United detection of serum CEA, CA19-9, CA242, CA72-4 can improve the sensitivity for the early diagnosis of cancers.
