Abstract
UART is widely used in the telemetry PCM encoding system, and is usually implemented by hardware(special chip for UART).However, there are shortcomings of the UART,such as taking too much space on electric circuit, complex pin connection and so on.In order to overcome these shortcomings,Verilog HDL language is used for the design of UART.It is proposed to integrate the major function of UART on FPGA by Verilog HDL language to realize the transmitting and receiving of asynchronous data.Simulation result shows that the given design features has stability, modularity and configurability, providing a new solution for RS-232.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
