Abstract

Objective:The effects of perindopril on hypertension supevised by 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.Method:48 patients (32 men,16 women, mean age 67.3 ± 12.7 a) with mind, moderate hypertension were selected. All of them were under perindopril regimen:4 mg qd,taken at 8 Am everyday for four weaks. The changement of blood pressure before and after the treatment were observed.Result:There was a significant decrease of blood pressure after the treatment with perindorpril (P 0.05 ).Whole validity was 81.2 %,the extents of decrease was nearly equal and still kept the normal rhythmical change at day and night.Conusion:Perindopril is an ideal firstline drug in treatment of mild and moderate hypertension.
