Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution and antibiotic resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae(KPN) isolated from our hospital and offer suggestions for clinic.METHODS The antibiotic susceptibilities to 24 kinds of antibiotics were tested by K-B method and analyzed by Whonet software.RESULTS The detection rate of ESBLs-producing KPN was 30.45% in the 266 KPN strains.The antibiotic resistant rates of 266 KPN strains to ampicillin,piperacillin,quinolones were 99.62%,40.60% and 17.29% respectively.The antibiotic resistance to cefazolin,ampicillin/sulbactam,cefuroxime,ceftazidime,aztreonam,ceftriaxone,ceftazidime,cefepime,cotrimoxazole,furadantin,gentamicin were decreasing progressively from 36.09% to 19.17%.CONCLUSION KPN isolates show resistance to all kinds of antibiotics in the investigation.The drugs should be chosen reasonably according to their antibiotic susceptibility results.
