Reflections on Reinforcement of Qualities Education to Students of Foreign Language Majors

Qualities education requires reconsideration of the function and objective orientation of education. To educate qualified personnels needed by the 21 century, higher educational institutions of foreign languages have to: transform educational ideologies and reinforce qualities educations; adopt the ideas of training comprehensive personnels with solid foundations, multiple talents, and higher qualities; focus on the reform of teaching contents and course system to upgrade education in the aspects of morality and educational attainment, and to enrich campus culture; and generate a sound cultural envirenment and promote qualities education by means of various educational convegers.
