Clinical Application of Tension Band and Circular Bind Wiring for Patella Fracture

Abstract

Objective To investigate the possibility of tension band and circular bind wiring for patella fracture.Methods 95 cases of patella fracture were treated by this method.Results All cases were followed up.The duration of follow-up were from 0.5～3 years.All fractures heal.The rate of excellen result is 95.5%.Conclusion This method has the advangtages of simple manipulation,less operative trauma,firm fixation,earlier mobilization,fast recovery.It is a new good treatment method for patella fracture.
