The value of history and the implication of poetry——an analysis of history reflected in Wang Yuanliang's poems

As Wang Yuanliang,an adherent of the Song,wrote in his poems many events and characters of that period,his works are regarded as an epic of the decline of the Song Dynasty,thus having historical value in supplementing the official history.On the other hand,Wang reflected history with vivid expressions which gives his epic poetic conception and aesthetic value.Compared with Du Fu's epic,Wang's works are unique in connecting his own period and experience.
