The poems also showed a deep concern over the fate and future of the country. In a word, his poems had a strong characteristic of lyric, of high realism and profound critic. The style of his poems was of deepness and magnificence, ornate and absurdity, and at the same time, there was no lacking of implication and faintness, freshness and naturalness. Integrated with merits of many schools of poets in the MING Dynasty, the poems composed by WANG Duo should have its position in the poetic history of the MING and QING Dynasties.
