The expression and correlation of Survivin and VEGF in gastric carcinoma

Objective To explore the expression of Survivin and VEGF in gastric cancer tissues and the correlation between them.Methods By SP immunohistochemistry to detect survivin and VEGF expression in normal mucosa in gastric carcinoma tissue,paraneoplastic,and analyzed the correlation between the two groups.Results The positive rate of Survivin and VEGF expression in gastric cancer tissues were 62.0%(31/50),70.3%(35/50),respectively,was higher than the positive expression rate [12.0%(6/50),18.0%(9/50)] in adjacent normal mucosa(P 0.05).The positive expression of survivin in gastric carcinoma and TNM staging with histological type and lymph node metastasis.The positive expression of VEGF in gastric carcinoma with histological type,lymph node metastasis,TNM stage was closely related(P 0.05).Survivin and VEGF expression in gastric cancer tissues were positively correlated.Conclusion Survivin,VEGF in gastric carcinoma has a high positive expression rate of survivin and VEGF in gastric cancer correlation between the expression,indicating that Survivin may inhibit gastric cancer cell apoptosis and the regulation of tumor blood vessels occur in gastric the development process.
