The concept of spiritual home is universal in academic circles,but we have rarely seen the discussion of it in learning.The spiritual home means the system of value which is continuative and stable in the culture of one nation even of the entire human beings.The spiritual home provides the systematic ideas of value for people and describes the prospect of world and the meanings of existence.Meanwhile,the spiritual home is open and derives rich nourishment from the spirit of the times for enriching itself.The reason that people needs the spiritual home originates from the essence of man,namely consciousness.The spiritual home expresses the direction of consciousness.The cultural function of the spiritual home lies in providing the faith for individuals,builds the order of spiritual world and endows individuals with significances.If there is not the spiritual home,individual spirit will lose their direction in life and the nation will lose its cohesion.
