Discussion on the Protection of Citizens’ Right To Know

The right to know is a basic human right of citizens,it is a state constitutional requirement of development of modern law system,and also an indispensable basic civil right in our country.However,the relevant laws and regulations about the right to know are not complete.The government often ignores and violates this basic right of our citizens.The protection system of Britain and the United States about the right to know has many superiorities that we can learn from.This article is focused on the current situation of China’s protection about the citizens’ right to know and trying to give some specific suggestions for perfecting China’s law system of citizen’s right to know,is in order to make the relative law system better.
