Abstract
Objective:To compare the diagnostic value of ultrasonography and mammography for breast cancer.Method:The ultrasonography and mammography results of 82 breast cancer patients who have underwent biopsy for pathologic diagnosis were retrospectively analyzed.Result: The sensitivity of ultrasonography and mammography were respectively 79.27%(65/82) and 81.71%(67/82), and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).When mammography was combined with ultrasonography, the diagnostic accuracy raised markedly to 92.68%(76/82)(P0.01).Conclusion:The sensitivity of ultrasonography is higher than mammography for breast cancer screening.Weather the ultrasonography could be the preferred method for breast cancer screening in our country is worth further research.
